Andrew Hesbacher is a multidisciplinary creative, educator, and facilitator from the Philadelphia area who merges his love of the outdoors, adventure, and community into his work. After switching from percussion to trumpet playing at 15, Andrew attended the George Washington University to study music and international affairs. He played in every band he could while studying, even in an orchestra while abroad in Munich, Germany. Andrew also brought along his love of spoken word poetry and founded GWU‘s competitive slam poetry team, participating in the international collegiate competition CUPSI. In his senior year, he played the leading role of George Washington in the debut production of Waking the Oracle, assisting in the process by providing dialogue, lyrics, and choreography.
